Anything About Nature - God's Hugs

There are so many amazing qualities of God's creation. I enjoy the cool green grass on my feet, the chill of a breeze brushing my face, the kiss of sun as it shines onto my skin, the serenity and calm of winter snow, and the crisp smell of fall. My most favourite gift from God in nature, though, would have to be rain. I have always loved it, but when I was little, I remember talking to God about how I could never really hug Him or walk beside Him. A poem popped into my head then about a woman asking God for a miracle, but missing all of the natural miracles around her such as caterpillars, sun, and water. It was raining, and I went outside to play in the wonderful miracle-drops. It reminded me of Noah and God's promise of love. How can a God so terrible (in power) in destroying the entire earth with this water be so gentle and loving to bless the plants (and this little girl) with the same rain/. Ever since that day, I've viewed rain as God's was of hugging me and whispering, "Here I am, Jennifer. Do you love me?"
